# What is a badge?

A badge is a digital symbol of your achievement. You’ll receive a badge when you complete a course or certification with The Health Sciences Academy.  It's an exciting and innovative way for our graduates to show off their accomplishment! [See yours here](https://courses.thehealthsciencesacademy.org/badges/in-progress/).

It’s a quick and easy way to showcase your skills and learning progress. You can add your badge to your ,  email signature, or share it on social media.

Once you've graduated, you can place your badge on anything you want:

* your business cards
* LinkedIn profile
* website
* online CV
* email signature
* marketing material
* share it on social media
* document letterhead, etc.

It’s entirely up to you!

|| Graduates who have completed a certification are given (at no charge) a special 'pack' which comes with different badge sizes for online and print use.

You’ll get your badge through **Sertifier**, our official digital credentials partner. Badges can only be obtained after you've graduated, not before. It signifies your achievement.
