# Personalising a detox program: A step-by-step approach with case studies

The detox program duration is for 4-weeks and the recommended detox protocol followed each week is determined by the "Overall Detox Plan Result". Once the Detox Plan Identifier ™ has been completed, you can use your client's Overall Detox Plan result to create a personalised detox program.

**Step 1:**

1. Assess the client’s current health state using the Detox Plan Identifier™.
2. Ask your client to complete the four assessments: Mood Assessment, Gastrointestinal Assessment, Toxicity Assessment, and Inflammation Assessment.
3. Add up the scores from all four assessments to calculate the Overall Detox Plan Result.

**Step 2:**

Retrieve your Overall Detox Plan Result and see where it fits in the scale:

**Step 3:**

Plan the Detox Program based on their overall results:
* Scores of 10 or less: These clients can incorporate Clean-up Protocols into their lifestyle and optionally do a 4-week Recalibration Detox once a year.
* Scores of 11-20: These clients may follow the full 4-week Recalibration Program. This includes integrating the Clean-up Protocols into their daily life, which means before, during, and after a 4-week Recalibration.
* Scores of 21-40: These clients may follow a 4-week Recalibration Program with a 2-week Elimination Detox integrated in weeks 2 and 3. Also integrate the Clean-up Protocols into their daily life, which means before, during, and after a 4-week Recalibration.
* Scores of 41 or more: These clients need a more intensive approach, a 4-week Recalibration Detox with a 1-week Intensive Detox in week 3. Also integrate the Clean-up Protocols into their daily life, which means before, during, and after a 4-week Recalibration.

**Step 4:**

Personalise the plan to align with the client’s preferences and tolerances, ensuring safety and adherence.
Monitor progress and adjust if needed.

**Case Study 1.**

Sarah is a 38-year-old who feels fatigued and notices occasional inflammation. Her Detox Plan Identifier™ score is 25.

**Overall Result:** 21-40 (High Intensity).

**Plan:** 4-week Recalibration Detox with a 2-week Elimination Detox (weeks 2-3).
* Sarah would start with the **Recalibration Detox** and follow this for 1 week.
* Then during weeks 2 and 3, she’d include a **2-week Elimination Detox** to target inflammation and support her immune system.
* During week 4, she would again follow the **Recalibration Detox** similar to week 1.

**Case Study 2.**

John is a 45-year-old office worker who feels sluggish after a busy holiday season. He scores 15 on the Detox Plan Identifier™.

**Overall Result:** 11-20 (Moderate Intensity).

**Plan:** 4-week Recalibration Detox integrating clean-up protocols.

**Case Study 3.**
Mia is a 34-year-old who recently experienced digestive issues and fatigue. Her Detox Plan Identifier™ score is 45.

**Overall Result**: 41+ (Intensive Approach).

**Plan:** 4-week Recalibration Detox with a 1-week Intensive Detox (Week 3).
* Mia would start with the **Recalibration Detox** and follow this for 2 weeks.
* Then during week 3, she’d transition to a 1-week Intensive Detox.
* During week 4, she would return to the **Recalibration Detox**.
